Singapore girls show off Korean phones

CommunicAsia 2009 Booth babes and mobile handsets

THE COMBINED annual CommunicAsia and BroadcastAsia show in Singapore grew really big this year, matching Taipei's Computex in size and scope with 1,923 exhibitors from 60 countries, including many more Western faces than showed up in Taiwan's capital earlier this month. But then, this is a telecoms, networking, satellite and HD video show, not a PC hardware gig, so the two shows complement each other well, being just a fortnight apart.

This Singaporean focused on the new mobile gizmos and the pretty presenters of said gadgets. The Korean giants, Samsung and LG, were yet again the focus of the show, pitting both the gizmoware and the legware against each other.

Samsung showed plenty of new stuff, including Jet and Omnia high-end phones with 800x480 AMOLED displays, 800MHz processors and motion-sensitive UIs, as well as Pixon12, a 12 megapixel touch screen capable camera. Yes, most of these run Windows Mobile, but one of the models, the I7500, ran Google's Android OS. Here are some photos:

and this remarkably close duet takes care of other things - phones too, we guess.

Across the walkway, LG had its own army of volunteers. This one was happy to show us their wristwatch cellphone, named Wearable Communicator.

There's even a simpler but more stylish Prada-branded version that just receives notifications from your actual cellphone:

Also, take a look at the LG GD900 Crystal phone, also with an 800x480 screen and an uber-complex touch UI, plus all the bells and whistles one can imagine, but never use.

While the BlackBerry Storm and Garmin-Asus Nuvifone didn't have as much pretty lass promotion, they did have some marginally interesting stuff to take a glance at. Storm is an interesting new model combining the usual BlackBerry stuff with a bit laggy touch interaction and a decent 3.2 Mpix camera, but its 3.25 inch screen disappointed a little with poor 480x360 resolution.

The Garmin-Asus joint venture with odd-named gadgets seemed to focus on answering the dumb questions like "Where am I" or "How do I get home", as well as offering navigation and positioning - whether it's for you knowing where you are, or maybe, more likely, for the Big Brother following your every step.

On the other hand, if you can't answer those two questions, maybe you really need some Big Brother "guidance" simply to survive, poor sod.

We'll have more on that and other gadgets and widgets in tomorrow's installment. µ

Actually..

In this pictures you can't see it but LG girls were faaaaaar better and also far more nicer in speaking terms. Too much tension and extremely forced grins in samsungland, sometimes even they looked angry.
In the meat market LG is a winner.

Sex, Romance and Commerce

When there is no maturity, there can be freedom because freedom [through having speech language thoughts] was bequeathed to allow for development of maturity. It is not for meat's sake, no matter how one trivialises/rationalises it. That's why reality/truth covers all topics and can easily traverse from one category to another and be still viable in its connectivity.

This is about treating the living as non-living and the religious fanatics were correct on some points regarding abandonment even though the so-called Moslem fanatics are apt to treat others as non-living too - especially women. Everyone of those girls is someone's daughter. Sure, you can groom most of them to appreciate the "finer" things within "freedom" and they'll whore and pimp for you without question - should you know the tricks of the trade.

The worst thing the religious fanatics and their religions have done to mankind is to ritualised Divinity. This is because they have never, ever communicated with Reality other than through thoughts. They have no concept nor any inkling of what Reality is ["And you know all about it, eh, boss?" - 'Why, how perceptive of you, sweet cheeks'].

Sex is not about genderism nor fetishism. It was bequeathed to spur procreation and the religious nutters-cum-screws try to control it. Control [of anything] is merely its abandonment at some other moment. Within sexuality, it merely leads to fetishism or fanaticism. That's why "simple" people seemed to "breed" much faster than the thinkers. They don't have a fetish nor a "tight butt" about sex and they are seldom abberrant and offer rationalities like, "it also happens to two bull elephants - explain that one, smartie pants …". They just enjoy the moment and get on with their lives and not be romantic or sadistic about it.

True/real romance only happens after a well complemented marriage and is not about the constant and artificial effort/distraction of thinkers who find it hard getting it up, down, sideways or alive. Romance is not about being starry-eyed, cultivating tastes for shiny bodies in stringed-garments or choir boys, or be on a 25/8 prowl for "zer bigge vun", and whatever that is [always] in the minds. It's about being mature to realise what procreation and sex is all about. It's about the moment, determined by the Supreme Timer, and that's it. When the "vibes"/"timings" is in charge, you can always get it up and right - no blue or orange "plug-ins" nor other visual send-offs required - the LG girls excepted, perhaps - but has anyone asked them?
