DON'T EXPECT the Indian tech sector to rebound until 2010, the outsourcing giant Infosys has warned.
S. Gopalakrishnan, chief executive officer of Infosys, said that no one is going to spend anything until the middle of 2010.
Infosys is predicting its first drop in annual revenue, because it gets 90 percent of its sales from North American and European clients and they are not interested at the moment.
Revenue in the year ending March 31 will fall at least 3.1 percent to $4.52 billion, the company said last month.
Infosys has about $2 billion in cash, according to Bloomberg, so it probably can affort to sit tight until then.
Some analysts even suggest that the outfit might buy something in Europe in the meantime. µ

You fancy an 'amen', man? Well aight. Hunky-dory.
Careful, George Bust is Satan and Barack Obama is the Christ! He is going to spend us into prosperity, take from the rich and give to the poor, and like God his words will recreate the world!
