Inspector Knacker gives kid's PC back

Illegal confiscation
Wednesday, 27 May 2009, 13:05

REDFACED INSPECTOR KNACKER of the Boston Yard has had to give a Boston College computer science student his computer back after a state Supreme Court judge threw out the search warrant under which the equipment had been seized.

According to Boston.com, Associate Justice Margot Botsford said police lacked sufficient evidence for a dorm room search.

Coppers got a warrant after the kid's room mate claimed that he had broken into the school's computer network to change grades and that he had spread a rumour that the roomie was gay.

Botsford said spreading such rumors was probably not illegal and there was little evidence of hacking presented to the court. µ

lol, the college kid sumhow manages to have "broken into the school's computer network to change grades"

i think this kid has some potential...
if someone is able to "hack" into a school system and change his grades, then surley he has a gift in the IT industry,
perhaps he could get a job in making system's more secure, (microsft security centre???) anyways, i would love to see what this kid has to offer in the future.

happy hacking =þ

Lol kidz

This is hysterical, sounds more typical of a 12 year old and not a college student but I guess schools are hurting, eh?

I bet the judge threw it out also because everyone is bi in college anyway after all the alcohol.

RE: Gary Mckinnon

isnt he gettin a bit to old now?(no offence if your over 50 people) plus im not surprised if hes been suspended from using Pcs anymore.
isnt he still on trial or something after all these years, (he must have a good lawyer, or probably hacked in to the court case files somehow =þ)
anyways regardless of that i still think the college kid gets my vote for the best hacker so far in this article and comments.
its nice to see the younger generation being notorious for being a super geek, and winning the court battle just makes it more exiting.
