GAMES PUBLISHER THQ has sent the Queen of England and elsewhere a gold-plated Wii.
Why Her Madge would want a gold-plated Wii is beyond us. Maybe it goes with her taps.
Obviously it's a publicity stunt, probably for some upcoming game, called er, um. Nah, not falling for it... µ

I really wonder if THQ actually sat down and thought about this. I mean there was enough easy jokes involving the Wii as it was but this just takes it to a whole new level.

I can understand why they chose Wii (games on more advanced consoles would be too complex for a queen, you know). But a golden Xbox 360 will certainly benefit from the awesome heat dissipation of such shiny metal case. And when it go 3RL, it will not lose much of its value.
THQ.... bribing the queen for brownie points. Oh come on!! Why don't you give the Queen an orgasm while you're at it?
Honestly, golden showers for our royals, what are THQ thinking?
A golden Wii? How about instead of giving some wealthy person even more wealth- They could of done something positive or flashier that would of picked up much more press.
I think their motto at THQ is "Yep, we are really this stupid"
