ONLINE GAME revenue in China increased 8.3 per cent in the first quarter from the last quarter of 2008, according to a report by Analysys International.
Chinese online gamers were reckoned to have spent 5.514 billion yuan (about £532 million, €600 million, or $808 million) during the quarter. Analysys attributed the revenue growth mainly to an increase in the number of online game players.
Widespread factory closings and rising unemployment throughout China this year probably had a bit to do with the increase in noodling about online. µ

why did i feel after reading this comment some1 wud mention world of warcraft... its not as good as people say it is.. trust me im a LVL 80 and now i dont play it anymore, gave ma acc to ma lil cuz.
warcraft is just a game to make u spend ur cash all the time. if you like warcraft try runescape? its very similar, or if u want the whole build ur character and want the fancy gfx aswell try Priston tale 2, thats pretty decent.
anyways, all the above games mentioned are of a similar interface, there is a lot more to Online gaming, than levelling a character in skills all the time, try Gunz for example, 1st player online game, fast action packed game with decent graphics. then theres arcanists, if your a worms fan, then this is the game for you, how about battling your friends colleagues etc online in a worm style based game. =รพ
ok so thats three types of games mentioned, now theres your old skool arcade games, like pool (Biliards) and then your strategy games.
my point im trying to make, dont just associate online gaming with warcraft, its just a game with 2 much publicity for what its worth.
my worst addiction Silkroad Online, i am level 65 2hand sword warrior (1% from the current level), gap 9, 100.000 skillpoints :)))
