Motorola gets $310 million China Mobile deal

MOBILE HARDWARE MAKER Motorola has won a deal worth $310 million to provide gear to China Mobile Communications.

The one year contract is for kit to integrate voice and data capacity on China Mobile's networks using GSM and TD-SCDMA standards.

China Mobile is spending a small fortune on hardware as the country upgrades to 3G. µ
