A US SURVEY has found that women are more likely to be the victims of ID fraud, but that they are also more likely to learn from the experience.
In a survey by fraud protection service provider Affinion Security Center, 17 percent of women said they had lost $1,000 or more due to identity fraud compared to just 10 percent of men.
According to CNET , the survey also found that women are more concerned about identity theft than men, with about 80 percent saying they were "most concerned" with identity theft compared to less than 60 percent of men.
In addition, it said that women are more likely to report the crime and do something about it. µ
Who's to say, in that case, that men and women aren't equally likely to be duped, but that men lie about it afterwards?
This is a bit like reporting that men are far less likely to prang their cars in supermarket carparks, because a) the missus was definitely driving it, the day that dent happened, or (failing that) b) someone must've run a trolley into it, while I was away, mate.
Women are trusting creatures allowing them to be duped more often. Women are also emotional creatures so when they are duped, they take it personally and run to the corrupt people in blue.

Well they do have pea-sized brains according to that jew Borat when he was running after Pamela in his film.
If they can afford to lose money and it will teach them or anyone a lesson, it's o.k. It just means they learned the hard way! The rest of us heed warnings and not dumb enough to upload too much personal stuff online... I never even buy things online! - Only if i've no option, as a last resort. Since being online since '99 there are no horror stories or tall tales and the likes to tell and will never be included in statistics as a LOSER!
Bye. Jon.
The female race is busy trying to act like men instead of the role that they have taken over the past million or so years of evolution. It is no surprise that they are ill suited for this new role.
Less women than men are tech savvy, from what I have seen anyway.
I would like to say that I feel older people (also less tech savvy) would also have a higher rate, but would they online shop etc in the first place?
LOL at the fact someone uses an article about slightly higher rates of identity fraud with women, to prove that women are lesser than men. Even if it's a troll, still makes me chuckle :D
