THE GUYS at Anandtech have come up with an alternative to Gateway's "budget" gaming notebooks. MSI has what seems to be a reasonably priced notebook, the GT 627, that matches the Gateway P-7805u in performance and price.

On the other hand if you're looking for a cheaper notebook with serious multimedia capabilities, you've got this Toshiba Satellite A350D-202 16-incher at Thrusted Reviews

Xbit Labs has a silent HD 4850, the Gigabyte GV-R485MC-1GI on the bench. The heatsink is massive and possibly CPU-worthy and manages to perform as well as the original 4850 reference cooler.

Tom's Hardware Emporium got one of those little Shuttle SX58H7 SFF cases to fiddle around with. The Core i7-based system kept some OC-ing ability while consuming relatively low power.

HTPCs can be quite taxing on CPU coolers so manufacturers like SilverStone come up with low profile HSF like the Nitrogon NT07-775. For $22 you get a compromise between height and performance.

Overclock 3D tests the Enermax Revolution 85+ 950w modular PSU. This actually delivers 90%+ efficiency throughout, but then there's the price to take into consideration.

If you're on the market for some new ear buds, be sure to check out OCIA and Shawn's Cresyn C750E In-Ear Earphones review. Fits any aural orifice, it seems.

Ninjalane got the Coolermaster Storm Scout case, a compact ATX case with some serious features like carry handles and a full-featured front panel. Good for those LAN parties.

Futurelooks has a long look at AMD's platform development, from Spider to Dragon, to a tweaked out version of the latter. A serious performance leap from one to another.

Laptop Mag has some hands-on time with the Pure Digital Flip Ultra HD, you know the company that was just bought by Cisco. It's a fool-proof design that has even become Mac compatible.

Planet 3D Now has a roundup of 350w~550w PSUs that can satisfy your power needs for a low-medium range PC.

Phoronix, opposing the idea of gaming on Linux, is testing an OCZ Behemoth Laser Gaming Mouse. Apparently it's a no-brainer at just $30.

Driver Heaven has a Novatech X55Mv Pro notebook. with solid performance and build quality, it flashes a moderately low price tag.

Extremetech reviews the AZZA Solano 1000 computer case. It's got more Fans than a Chinese phone book, so you can actually blow dry your hair with it. Cheap too. µ
