PIGGISH CYBERCRIMS are taking advantage of the worldwide hysteria over the so-called 'swine flu' outbreak to peddle fake drugs and nick credit card details.
According to Symantec's Mayur Kulkarni, more than 146 swine flu-related websites have been registered over the last few days. The scammers are trying to collect 'donations' (into their own pockets) and peddle malware and fake pills. The AP said that one site is called noswineflu.com and offers a dodgy "Swine Flu Prevention Guide" for $19.95.
Then there is also the usual fake news email spam such as "Madonna caught swine flu!" and "Swine flu in Hollywood!" which, when opened, lead to malware infested websites that nick passwords. µ

Good, this is the electronic version of natural selection. I feel sorry for all the people in the real world suffering from this outbreak but the hysterical jumping on the bandwagon of panic that is being created is ridiculous.
heres another scary thought especially for those hypochondriac panic-mongers:
if swine flu merges with bird flu we will have an epidemic of flying pig flu!

Actually the 'swine flu' reported now is derived from one part human influenza, one birt avan influenza and two separate parts of swine influenza..
technically it is not a swine flu.
