SOFTWARE GIANT Microsoft's MSN website was hijacked by hackers who redirected the outfit's New Zealand traffic to another website.

Visitors to the MSN news website www.msn.co.nz were sent off to another page where "Microsoft New Zealand hacked by Peace Crew" was pasted above a snap of Bill Gates with cream pie on his face.

The hackers hit web hosting company Domainz, which hosts the MSN website, and they redirected its traffic to the fake website.

It is believed that the hackers were a pro-Palestinian group from Turkey. µ

Teentsy Little Factual Error

Domainz is a DNS registrar, not a Web-hosting company.
