AV OUTFIT Symantec has bought Web security firm Mi5 Networks.

Mi5 flogs a Web security appliance to protect corporations against Web-based threats and Symantec says it will integrate the technology into its offerings later in 2009.

The deal has been closed and although money changed hands no one has said how much Symantec paid. µ

Asus Eee AV doesn't do live virus checking.

so websites with viruses can infect the pc. Why doesn't the AV scan them and spot this?
