IDC confirms Russian PC market slump

There may be t-rouble ahead

AS WE REPORTED YESTERDAY, the Russian PC market appears to have absolutely tanked, falling well into the red.

Speaking with Eszter Morvay, research manager at IDC, the INQ discovered the true extent of the slump, with figures more chilling than a Siberian winter.

According to IDC's number crunching, the market dropped some 41 per cent in the region, largely due to the developing market's inability to borrow (or Put-in) any more money right now. µ

market slumps itself

PC components retail prices after sub-prime borrowers official fucked us-banks (or they fucked... nevermind) in Russia rised about 30-50% due to inflation. So for customers it's question of market situation that currently propose overpriced products. <!
