LaCie releases Rugged XL 1TB hard disk

LACIE has announced a new member of its bomb-proof hard drive family. The Rugged XL doubles the capacity of the original model to 1TB while using the same design.

The aluminium case with an orange rubbery sleeve has an internal bumper and heat dissipation system.

The drive's connectors are USB 2.0 and eSATA. It will cost $160 and will be available directly from LaCie. µ
