HARD ON THE HEELS of the announcement of Acer's new range, Gateway has announced two branded netbooks and a pair of redesigned mainstream laptops.
Acer bought Gateway last year and this is the first time they are releasing products at the same time.
The LT20 is a 10.1-inch netbook and looks a bit like the Gateway MD7801u. It has an 89 per cent keyboard and runs on an Intel Atom.
The LT30 is an 11.6-inch netbook with a full-size keyboard, multitouch touchpad, Wi-Fi, optional Bluetooth, optional 3G, and VGA-Out.
The two new laptops are the Gateway EC and the ID58 and have little unusual to write about. µ

Bummer about gateway being bought out isn't it? I am still laughing at them.
I work in a hotel in Prague and therefore can't afford top of the range notebooks. Are these at affordable prices so that folks like me can finally get some value for money?
