Thursday, 9 April 2009, 13:40

MAKER OF EXPENSIVE printer ink, HP has announced updates to its business service automation suite designed to help customers cut the cost of managing virtualisation and improve service quality.

The outfit has updated two software applications and introduced one new bit of software in its BSA suite, which is built on technology HP acquired with Opsware. It claims it means that you will not need so many people in your data centre if you use its code.

HP Storage Essentials and HP Operations Orchestration does all the logging into storage arrays and checking for capacity which normally has to be done by a low-paid techie drone. µ
