IBM poised to snaffle up Sun

IT LOOKS LIKE IBM will be annouced as the new owner of Sun Microsoystems as early as next week.
Various reports have it that $7 billion are sitting on the table. This is a billion down on earlier reported sums and the thinking is that Sun will want to do the deal sooner rather than later - before the price dips even further.
Times are good for big companies with cash in the bank, as these can expand and consolidate while others are either swallowed up or die.
That's what recessions are for. µ

Heh, I just love how Drashek can sometimes generate more comments than the article.
Anyhow, had dealings with Sun before, not the most efficient people to deal with I must say. So hopefully if IBM gobbles them, it will be for the better.
He is a bit more lucid when he is on his meds. You can tell he is off them here. If you don't want your brain to hurt, then just read it like a trashy romance novel and rip through it. Puking after wards is optional.
