DESPITE the fact that the company is pathologically secret about its own cunning plans, Jobs' Mob simply cannot keep its mouth shut about its partner Intel.
According to Apple's Hong Kong site, Jobs Mob is preparing to take preorders of new Xserve servers carrying Intel's new Xeon chips.
The only problem is that Intel has not hinted at any launch of such devices and, while the online shop is offering to take preorders, the link hasn't been activated yet.
If it were Apple, we suspect Steve Jobs would have axed the business partner by now. We guess that Intel is being patient because with the economy in the state it is, it needs all the partners it can get, even if it does not know what an NDA looks like unless it comes from its own company. µ

"We guess that Intel is being patent because with the economy"
i have been up 27 hours and even noticed that, patent is not the correct word, i think he means paitent
Unless the page in question has changed since the article was published, I think you'll find it's talking about the "Harpertown" Xeon, which is the older Core 2-derived design. And Apple has been selling Nehalem-based Xeons in the Mac Pro for over a month now, so it's not as if the new Xeon is some dark secret!
Plus the processor has already been launched: http://www.intel.com/products/processor/xeon5000/index.htm
Patent? Paitent? Could he have meant patient?
