Ecs-mobo

ECS  has launched the X58B-A2 Black Series motherboard based on Intel's X58 Express chipset for Core Bli7mey processors.

Apparently targeted at overclocking beginners, the  ECS X58B-A2 boasts Intel QuickPath Interconnect up to 6.4GT/s, triple channel DDR3 1600MHz memory, support for ATI CrossFireX Technology with dual x16 PCI Express Gen2 slots, and ECS' M.I.B. II overclocking utility for beginners.

The ECS X58B-A2 supports the new VRD 11.1 power specification  which allows the processor to work even under one phase power only.

The board is imminently available for an as-yet undisclosed price. µ

Ugh!

That's one ugly motherboard. Not sure if it's just me, but there is way too much yellow and orange/bronze on that board. Big and black sounded promising, but this doesn't work.

Does it work?

I've seen far too many failed ECS boards to even trust them quality wise. I hope they finally shape up and start making decent quality stuff.

Here is to hoping that they actually started making decent stuff finally.
