We're not in a hole. A lot of companies would like to be in our hole - Scott 'touch'n'feely' McNealy
HP HAS just updated its Pavilion Elite m9600 series with Intel Core i7 940 processors.
Also in the upgrade are a 1TB hard drive, and 12GB of system memory. The range is targeted at the high-end multimedia market.
The base model starts at $949 and comes with an Nvidia GeForce 9600 GS graphics card, a 500GB hard drive, and a SuperMulti DVD burner (dual layer DVD+/-RW). A Blu-ray reader and an ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics card are optional upgrades.
It is available on hpshopping.com and will be retailed from April 13. µ
Buying an i7 and not being able to overclock it is wasting your money.
