Nibble Update please
Thu Mar 26 2009, 10:30

MAKER OF THE INTERNET'S TUBES Cisco has released eight security updates for the Internetwork Operating System software used to power its routers.

The eight updates fix 11 security vulnerabilities. Most of the bugs could be exploited by attackers to crash or somehow disrupt service to a router.

For example, two of the bugs were in the Secure Sockets Layer Virtual Private Network software that could be used to crash the device if the hacker sent a specially-crafted HTTPS packet to the router. µ
