Jaxtr goes to handset

Nibble Voip without the Website
Thu Mar 26 2009, 09:38

VOIP OUTFIT JAXTR is abandoning the Internet and allowing its users to make calls directly from their phones without needing the World Wide Wibble.

It means that users can dial a toll-free local access number from their mobile or landline phone and type in the number they want to call. Then, they can either pay for a low-cost direct call or wait for the service to make the connection after sending an SMS message to the other people and providing them with a local number to dial.

The mixed service is being seen as the way forward for computer-based Voice over IP outfits. µ
