Aragon 900 gurgles into action

Daily Veeble Universal liquid cooling system

NO, IT'S NOT a fictional character in a movie. AMA is pitching its Aragon 900 liquid cooling system, that's on review at Hardware Logic. The system supports all sockets, including LGA 1366, so you can stick it on your new Core i7 rig. Overclocking-wise it didn't react very well

Some lucky twonk at CNet got dibs on the Dell Adamo notebook and posted some pics of the newborn side by side with a MacBook Air.

XS Reviews is revving up the Scythe Mugen 2. The towering CPU cooler does wonders, says Joe, and it doesn't even cost much.

Thrusting Reviews grabbed an Acer Aspire One D150, the company's first attempt at a 10-inch netbook. Andy thinks Acer could've done a better job at it...

TweakTown is also looking at a CPU cooler, the Thermolab Baram. It employs a smaller fin surface, but tilted at an angle that optimises heat dissipation. Well, it looks like it works.

Energy drinks are the lifeblood of any LAN Party - ask the attendees. Bit Tech has gone out and got high on a bunch of energy drinks... steer clear of the lot, sez the article.

Olin at Benchmark Reviews scored a G.Skill Titan SATA SSD (128GB) is setting some high marks in benchmarking. You'll see it's cheap compared to other SSDs, but performance is tremendous.

Motherboards.org is having a bit of three-way fun with the GTX280. Pricey stuff and scaling isn't that good, but it's still cheaper than buying three GTX 285s.

Extreme Overclocking has a new case from Cooler Master, the Sileo 500 mid-tower chassis. The case comes with some special insulating foam that cuts back on noise, but airflow isn't the greatest.

Tom's Hardware is updating its guidance for Best Graphics cards for the Money. Not that there's anything new on the market, mind you, but the GTS 250 did push some prices around.

Overclockers On-line has a big Samsung A630 LCD TV that it's testing. It's affordable for a 52-incher, has great contrast and you can plug in just about everything you have.

Metku Mods has an Antec Fusion Remote HTPC case on test. It's a massive 4U case that includes a deluxe remote and HTPC software. It has a special internal structure that isolates heat and noise, which makes a lot of snese.

Laptop Mag has gathered together their top 5 netbooks in a single article. These are all 10-inchers and second generation machines.

Hardware Geeks has the HP w2558hc LCD monitor on review. Apart from providing some extra screen real-estate it doubles up as picture frame and mp3 player, it seems. Michael liked it.

The Lord of Penguins, Phoronix, is testing Intel's X25-E SSD under various Linux file systems. It seems that JFS and XFS have a slight lead, here. µ

Universal?

"Universal liquid cooling system"

I'm sure someone will be getting a call from some Alpha Centaurian lawyers shortly. After all, everyone knows that the Pan-Galactic company Appool(not to be confused with the pitiful Earth-based Apple), makes some rather attractive billion-core 1-THz chips for being used in the rather stylish handheld communication devices sold the galaxy over.

(Yes, I am crazy, but the pills keep the monsters away ;) )

Have you ever thought of trying to get approval to continue the Hitch hikers guide series? With that sense of humor, it would fit perfectly! Had me chuckling into my coffee cup.
