GRAPHICS CARD VENDORS have a tough time differentiating themselves from the pack these days, at least until Larrabee hopefully brings along freer design approach. In the meantime, anything goes.
Take a look at Albatron's new PCI-e X1 based entry-level 9500GT card, meant to be a convenient way of hooking up a cheap second display for those requiring one. But it goes a long way further in the extra features provided by naughty Albatron designers, according to their official press release issued today:

Now now, how about some 'screen extension in flight stimulation' to 'satisfy discrete [very graphic at that] needs'? Now that's a perfectly matching card for bored nerds on long-haul flights,
I guess Albatron should make one for the Expresscard laptop connector too for the portability's sake... after all, carrying a desktop on board the airplane for that 'flight stimulation' may feel too bulky. µ
how come any1 reading albatron press releases at all...

For machines that want additional displays without significant extra expense, it's definitely worth knowing about new PCI-E X1 cards seeing as most cards are electrically X16..
AFAIK the only other x1 card is an old G550 from Matrox ..?
This is great for some people who want massive desktop space, or a second screen for something.
Can we see this press release? Or a photo of the card? Been announced like 10x already in last 6 months, but still nothing official on their website. If you can find it, pls post a link in the article..
