Microsoft shuts Adcenter Analytics

Never got out of beta
Mon Mar 16 2009, 13:55

SOFTWARE GIANT Microsoft's has shut down its beta service Adcentre Analytics and is unlikely to find a replacement.

The service, which is based on Web analysis tools originally developed by DeepMetrix which Vole swallowed in 2006, will close by the end of the year.

Vole said that the beta test proved that it would be a lot better if it was a bit more specialised. In other words, it was not worth the effort. μ
