Nintendo denies killing off DS Lite

Nibble We will bundle instead

MAKER OF STRANGELY-NAMED CONSOLES, Nintendo is not about to kill off its successful DS Lite when the next generation is released.

According to MCV, the console maker is planning all sorts of bundling packages for the DS Lite and it will be increasing the supply rather than pulling it, at least in the UK. µ

New bundles...

I think I have found one of their new bundles... Curious combination, maybe it has a hidden storage pouch!

Whatever

It just makes no sence to kill it off. They are targetting two differentn markets. The DS is $130 and is backwards compatable with SP games and the DSi has a memory slot and camera and costs about $40-50 more. Bundling it would just drive up the price and make them compete in the same market. They sold the SP for a long time after the DS came out. If the DSi was going to be $130 then I could see them pulling it because demand would be very low.

INQ Poll

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
