The INQ factor

ACCORDING TO a little story on Digtimes a gang of four PC vendors has become eligible to get subsidies from the Chinese government under a programme introduced to promote PC use in rural areas.

HP, Dell, Lenovo and Acer all made the grade. The only top-five vendor deemed inellegible was Asustek.

Tsk.

Obviously they didn't realise Sylvie has such powerful friends. µ

Where can I buy Sylvie on a beach towel?

Ok. I know you chaps don't flog much INQUIRER merchandise. But I can't stop thinking about how the spiffiness a Sylvie on a bath sheet or beach towel would hang perfectly with my collections of soap on a rope, or more precisely, my British Sterling soap-on-a-rope. Such a faddish item, no doubt would become the solution to stimulating the economy.

Mehbe I check amazon.com

Taiwanese?

Asustek is a Taiwanese company, so this isn't particularly surprising is it?

Journalism and some basic research should really go together. :p
