EU eases Microsoft monitoring

THE EU has taken away the slavering watchdog it had chained to Microsoft as part of the anti-trust action against the software giant.

The European Commission has announced that it will no longer require an independent oversight committee to maintain constant watch over the Vole.

This is because Microsoft has been a very good little Vole lately.

The EC's official filing states that Microsoft has properly documented the original set of interoperability data, and used all the right legal mumbo jumbo in its licensing agreements. µ
