Spotify

ONLINE record store Spotify has admitted that thousands of users' personal details may have been nicked by hackers before Christmas.

The store claimsmore than a million users worldwide, and was apparently taken down by a loophole in the security software.

The passwords were encrypted but Spotify is was worried they were potentially vulnerable to a "brute force" attack.

Also nicked were passwords, registration information, email addresses, birth date, gender, postal code and billing receipt details. Credit card details were not half inched, customers may be pleased to note . µ
