Hearst wants Kindle for magazines

PUBLISHER Hearst says it will launch a wireless electronic reader for magazines and newspapers similar to Amazon's Kindle for books.

The gear will be unveiled this year and it is likely that other publishers will be allowed to adapt it for their use.  Heast invested in eink nearly ten years ago.

Eink is the outfit that supplies the electronic-ink technology used in the Kindle and Sony. µ
