Apple may have March makeover

Rumour Refreshing news
Monday, 2 March 2009, 10:28

MULTIPLE SOURCES, some of which have been fairly reliable in the past, are talking about an Apple launch event on March 24th.

World of Apple is saying that its source, which has been confirmed to be "within reach" of such information, reckons that new desktop hardware will be announced, perhaps pointing to a much-predicted major refresh for the long-in-the-tooth Mac Mini, as well as minor bumps for the Imac and Mac Pro Ranges.

My Apple Guide is also citing two anonymous sources which hint at an Apple media event on the same date. They are predicting a new Mac Mini, Imacs with the new Nvidia chipset, Mac Pros with updated Xeon processors and what they are enigmatically describing as, "a pleasant surprise".

You can also pretty much expect to see previews of Snow Leopard at the next major Apple event, whether or not that happens to be on the 24th of March. µ

AMD....

After this story, and another one I found tucked away in the nether regions of interspace, Apple will not only be using NV, but AMD-AMD/ATI combo as well.

Imac, isn't that a hair removing cream for women's legs?

Imac, ISTR that as a women's hair removal cream.

Does an Apple Imac also cause baldness? ;-)

Jobs

Apple really needs to have some news that isn't about Steve Jobs. What better than new products?
