The new server chip (6 core) is codenamed Istanbul IIRC, My totally baseless theory is that Husky is perhaps the predecessor/enhancement to Yukon... or perhaps in a budget cutting move, the execs elected to use the "B-Squad" strippers this time.

Just a wild guess...

...but I also believe it likely has something to do with Yukon, as Huskie's are one of the few breeds up North.
