IT crowd does 34 days a year unpaid overtime

Ain't you got no homes to go to?

THE BRITISH UNION OF UNIONS reckons  your average IT geek puts in 34 days of unpaid overtime every year.

The TUC said that one in three computer workers do nearly six hours of work a week after the factory whistle has blown, but failed to point out that most of that time was probably spent looking for 'friends' on Facebook or organising a weekend raid for their World of Warcraft guilds.

Today is the TUC's Work Your Proper Hours Day when staff are asked to leave work when they have completed the hours they are being paid for.

I'll be off then. µ

Only 6hrs a week extra?

I work 60 hours a week. Usually 6 to 7 days a week. I should move to the UK and downshift.

That's it?

Man I spend more time than that just training the people who will eventually take my job as a side project...

Why should I care?

Guys, who cares how much you work? If you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life.

If you dislike your work, then get out of it. You have nobody to blame but yourself!
