Tour de France rider resorts to Twitter

Nibble Can I have my bike back?
Wed Feb 18 2009, 15:36

TOUR DE FRANCE rider Lance Armstrong is using social notworking site Twitter to get his stolen bike back.

His bike was nicked from a northern California racing track and Armstrong thought that one of the more than 128,000 Twitter members who have signed up to receive his missives will help him find it.

Already they have had some near misses. One Twitterer noticed what looked like the bike on Ebay, which downed the page. It turned out to be a hoax. µ

Sorry m8

Terrible, but i had a hearty laugh when I heard of this. I was scared shitless about leaving my £400 bike TIED up anywhere in London and it obviously got stolen (actually 2 of the same ones in separate incidents) so a £10k one is gone forever and some crackhead is gonna get a days worth of fix for it. Anyone in UK being told to get on their bike and out of the car just point to Lance and say NO FUKING WAY U HIPPIES! I would not like to walk 20 miles just cus some twat got my bike while art work.

MWAHAHAHAH!!!

I have your bike Lance Armstrong and if you want to see it again, meet me near the corner of "kiss my ass" and "arrogant prick" and bring 1 gazillion dollars.
