Facebook may team up with Nokia

Facebook Finnished?

SOCIAL NOT-WORKING site, Facebook, is looking to fortify and expand its links to mobile phone makers, according to the rumour-mill here at Mobile World Conference (MWC) in Barcelona.

The INQ has been told by an industry source that Facebook has spent Valentines weekend wooing Nokia in the hopes of a long loving partnership between the two. Or, if that isn't a possibility, just a short sleazy hookup.

Facebook already has a deal with Blackberry maker RIM, as well as with fruity toy maker Apple. Zuckerberg's not-workers were also seen poking around at the recent unveiling of the Palm Pre smartphone, so it's not unlikely Nokia will be next on Facebook's speed dial.

We reckon we may even hear an announcement about the new partnership this week in Barcelona. µ
