SOCIAL NOTWORKING site Facebook is negotiating a deal with Nokia to integrate its software into the mobile maker's handsets.

The big idea is that contact information stored in Facebook would be integrated with the phone's address book.

Users could see if their Facebook 'friends' were logged on, send them messages and post comments on their profile pages.

Facebook is also working with Palm to do something similar and has had a presence on the Iphone 3G from pretty much day one. µ
