Advertising-paid music downloads ready

Nibble Last major music label signs up
Thursday, 12 February 2009, 12:30

FREE MUSIC DOWNLOAD COMPANY Qtrax has signed up the last major recording company to its service.

The company miffed some players in the music industry when it launched last year before any of them had signed up to the deal.

This month, however, the company bagged Warner Music which joined Universal, EMI and Sony Music Entertainment in agreeing to be partners in the service.

DRM-infected music on the site is free and the labels divide the advertising money.

The advertisements are on the website not inside the music. µ

Sounds too good to be true...

And I hope, Andy Williams will be available.

DRM-infested ?

And probably low-quality compression as well. Well that clinches it, I'm not even going to look at their site.
