The hunt is on for Facebook fugitive

Charred remains discovered
Wed Feb 11 2009, 11:15

BRITSH COPPERS are hunting for one George Appleton after the body of a woman he met on Facebook was found burned in her Salford home.

Appleton, 40, is wanted in connection with the death of Clare Wood, 36, whose charred remains were discovered in Blackfriars, Salford.

It is believed that the Internet relationship ended recently. Coppers are a bit worried because Appleton had made contact with four other women on Facebook recently and are warning them not to arrange to meet.

It is possible he is driving a red Ford Escort estate registration N554 HYG. µ
