CECT HAS RELEASED a wristwatch-shaped mobile phone device which is controlled by a 1.5in touch screen.
The Watch Mobile is a quad band phone which can play MP3 and MP4 video, has Bluetooth connectivity and a 1.3 MP camera.
The Bluetooth technology means you can make calls in speaker-phone mode without having to bring the watch to your mouth.
The gizmo is also equipped with a radio with an integrated FM receiver and all the usual features you'd expect from a phone.
It's a bit clunky for a watch but looks like it could be a pretty good gadget. In the shops for about $140.40. µ

donkeys ages, mostly from southern China. Try "watch phone" on Ebay.
They should have used bluetooth and a regular phone and made a watch that linked to the phone. That way the watch could be smaller and still retain phone functionality. And if you don't want to wear a big silly watch then you're not without a phone. Combine a phone with a bluetooth earpiece and a bluetooth watch so you can see who is calling, scroll through phonebook (or voice dialling of phonebook) etc.
