Trouble looms for Dr Moore - Bob Colwell, former Intel chief architect
SOFTWARE GIANT MICROSOFT is adding software to its Dynamics AX business range that allows midsize companies look into their energy use.
The software is the result of Vole's own environmental sustainability quest at the Redmond Volehill. Dubbed the Environmental Dashboard, it enables punters to input utility bill information and the software generates a read-out of historical trends and a calculation of how much greenhouse gases the outfit produces. µ

Maybe MS should move some more resources over to their crapbox division. The Red ring of death is back as of Feb 3rd with a manditory dashboard update, probably shoving more DRM into the machine. It's all at Tom's hardware, here:

O_o
Yeah, let's just forget the fact that Linux will reduce the power consumption of just about any machine it's placed on that had Windows XP or Vista previously.
And if you replace OS X with XP or Vista, guess which way the power consumption numbers are going to go.
Face it MS idiots, unless you're a gamer, or an uninformed person who thinks he's informed, Microsoft isn't a good idea in any way, shape or form. If you want something that's free and less hassle than Windows, then Linux is the answer. And yes, I said less; and no, I'm not going to retract it because someone calls me a few synonyms for stupid. MS coming out with a study that says Linux is more expensive to implement doesn't mean it's true, it just means they paid someone to screw with the numbers.
And Apple is for people with more money than sense. It's stated so much, it's a cliche. But a lot of cliches are true, and this one definitely is.
Pimp the penguin, the Steves don't deserve any more money.
