Union to immobilise AT&T Mobility

Nibble Strike over contracts
Mon Feb 09 2009, 13:03

UNION members working for AT&T Mobility have authorised a strike in a bid to strengthen Communications Workers of America's negotiating ability in talks over new contracts.

AT&T said that bargaining was continuing and the parties remain hopeful that a new agreement will be negotiated by the expiration of the current contracts tomorrow.

However, CWA said talks were not going the way it liked with AT&T ignoring problems like compensation, employment security and working conditions. µ
