Godfather gets offer it can't refuse

Horse-head diplomacy
Monday, 9 February 2009, 12:44

THE ESTATE of the Godfather writer Mario Puzo got an offer it couldn't refuse and has settled a court case over a videogame based on the flick.

The Puzo estate filed a million dollar law suit against Paramount Pictures saying it should have been given profits from sales and rentals of The Godfather: The Game.

The two sides have apparently settled with Paramount agreeing to hand over some cash without anyone having to wear concrete shoes for a swim down the river. µ

Horse Lost Death Match....

No, theINQ has it wrong. Horse Head is when UnWanted is Put in Coral of Horses,by force, Won't be Let Out & Horses Want to Trample Victim. Sometimes Victim Makes SO Much problem, Barn workers Kill Horse, Show OFF ITs' Head & Victim Escapes, being too Dumb To Know What transpired, Just Lucky Break. Horse Barns Are Notorious for Extreme Unkindlyness, Workers get trampled More Than Family bringing victim for PAY to Trample & in General its SHOW of Brutality Amoung Those whom Feel ThemSelves MUCH MORE Civilized Than Common Person.Walking Person out onto merging Trolly Car Tracks & Running OFF, Victim being trapped & run over by tonnes of iron, Has Largely replaced Traditional Horse Trampling, in europe.Coststa bit less, too. Drashek Blocker

Anybody got a clue why my 'Drashek Blocker'-extension for FF is no longer working!? I'm using ver 1.0 but if there's an update I'm happy to hear it.

Drashek, please stop posting!

All comments before being published are going through some editor to be approved. If I would be an editor, Drashek's comments would be the first ones to be not approved. Why we still see Drashek's comments being posted????????

Dont stop Drashek :)

Plus, there was indeed a horse's head in the Godfather.

Don Corleone tells Johnny "I'll make him an offer he can't refuse" to land him a role in a Hollywood movie. When Woltz, the refuses to Hagen, he wakes up next day morning to find the bloody severed head of his prize $600,000 stud horse in the bed with him.

As i said, there was a horse's head :D

Re: Drashek Blocker

The Drashek blocker extension quit working when the INQ changed their layout back in December. I was able to tweak my drashekblocker.js file to make it work again, but it wasn't easy as my Javascript skills are minimal. An official update would be nice.

Drashek Theory

My theory: Drashek is a fledgling computer AI trying to learn the complexities of human language.

lmao

Since it takes what seems an eternity to render pages on the INQ now, STeWie is all the fun that's left here. Of course I could start with ARS Technia. Their new site upgrade is the way it's supposed to be.

"Basically, with such programs, you get to call dibs and other partners have to back off. In exchange for orderly sales in the channel, vendors like Novell and IBM can afford to give partners some more margin, because if they don't, the revenues will go south based on competitive pressures anyway. It is somewhat dubious to call this increasing an investment in the channel, however. But this is what IT vendors do."

Some others would just put a horse's head in the bed to make the valid undeniable point that they are worth more and work better in a Space Free from Heat and Interference.
