Microsoft denies smartphone soon

Nibble The wonderful thing about Tegra
Friday, 6 February 2009, 16:38

MICROSOFT HAS DENIED CLAIMS that it is about to stick its Tegra chip under the bonnet of an as yet unannounced smartphone... but denials ore nothing new.

Analyst at Broadpoint AmTech Doug Freedman made the claim that the phone will be the second Nvidia Tegra design win after HTC. He thinks that Apple will move to the chip for its next iPhone.

However, Vole has denied that it will make a phone and says it is only interested in software these days. µ
