Facebook joins OpenID

Nibble So much for Facebook connect

THERE are signs that the social notworking site Facebook is unhappy with its Facebook Connect log-in standard.

The outfit has decided to host an OpenID Design Summit later this month. Open ID competes with the Facebook standard which many think is too proprietary.

A Facebook blog reveals that the site's admins like OpenID so much one's joined the board. µ
