BOFFINS at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have created a portable "sixth sense" device that can turn any any surface into a touch-screen for computing, controlled by simple hand gestures.

The gadget can take snaps if you draw a frame around a scene with your hands or project a watch face with the proper time on a wrist.

It is what you get when you combine $300 worth of Web cam, a battery-powered projector, a mobile telephone and some bling. µ

Ummm

I believe the most commonly referred to as your '6th sense' would be your Balance. The 7th being Proprioception.

Don’t you mean eighth sense?

We already have at least seven senses.

sixth sense?

What the hell does this technology have to do with the sixth sense? Otherwise known as ESP or Extrasensory Perception. People have been projecting keyboards onto surfaces for years... now if I can tell someone is doing that from another room, maybe it does involve a sixth sense.

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
