Solar powered MP3 player

Nibble Will not work in Blighty
Thursday, 5 February 2009, 13:44

AN ITALIAN INVENTOR has released a solar powered MP3 player. The jewel-encrusted player works best when it is out of your pocket and facing the light. It only has 2GB of storageand at €70 is a tad pricey, but at least you will not have to plug it in.

It supports MP3, WMA and U-DISK, and is software compatible with Windows and nothing else. It has no interface other than a press and play and is as ugly as sin.

It also it is unlikely to work in the UK because it is always raining and dark. But apart from that it is a cool idea. µ

Useless

Seventy pounds for a low-capacity solar-powered flash player? No thanks. I'd rather have the space dedicated to a larger battery, which would do you more good than the paltry amount of power those photo cells produce. And the last thing I want to do is leave my mp3 player sitting in the sun.
