Google dumps AOL investment

SEARCH outfit Google is cashing in its $1 billion investment in AOL.

Google had five per cent of AOL which included a deal on advertising, instant messaging and video. With the fall in the cost of shares Google's stake which it bought a couple of years ago is only worth $726 million. µ
