GAME DEVELOPERS ARE CUTTING COSTS in order to punt out cheaper games according to a games industry Web Site.
The report states that standard price points for console games are dropping below the usual $60 for XBox and PS3 titles and $50 for those released on the Wii, because developers are recycling code and rehashing game engines to create entirely different titles.

Odds bodkins the powder is bitchin' today
The most extreme case in point is probably Ubisoft's Shaun White Snowboarding which is based on the engine developed for Medieval mystery adventure RPG-type thingummy, Assassin's creed.
Stiffer competition for shelf space also means that gaming houses are considering lower prices. µ

Devs frequently use the same mix of middleware, just updating it between releases. Fallout3, for example, uses the same (but updated) middleware as Oblivion did.
I appreciate your new picture policy of slapping together some unrelated things in paint. It's nice to see something besides blocks of text.
I like it! He could also drop mega-stink-bombs off the chair lifts, or put superglue on the seats. Mwhahahha. Where can I play this game?
I have been chasing the lastest graphics technology for 5 years now, to be frank i am a bit tired of it. I am currently playing Far Cry 2, to be honest it is piece of shit under DX10 - mouse lag, random stutter - no, it has nothing to do with my machine, everyone gets this problem under DX10, and FC2 is arguably the best performing game under DX10. and when i load Far cry 1, I actually dont think it look very different. in fact i perfer the way Far cry 1 looks, green vegetation, blue waters... with twice the frame rate. we have arrived in an age where continued advancement in 3d gfx is not as rewarding anymore, most of us are completely satisfied with the way DX9C performs, and dont really need DX10, or DX11 for the matter, so game companies should also get it and produce games with more meny spent on getting a better storyline, flawless gameplay system. and less in making it compatible with the latest shading effects.
