GERMAN CHIP MAKER QIMONDA said it will close a US factory in Richmond, Virginia that employs 1,500 workers.

The bankrupt outfit said that it will continue to run its Dresden plant "for the time being".

The outfit is looking for investors but, if it doesn't find any, chances are Qimonda will be liquidated. µ

@axel, sure you can

The germans gave that word power and fear as their reason for conquest in the '30s.

YOU, give it power and fear today by holding it sacred.

The Nazis were defeated. We can stomp on their symbols and their scripture and resign their small thinking to the dustbins of history.
