AN ITALIAN comic has topped a list of web-personalities even though many people will not have heard of him.
Beppe Grillo rose to fame as a comedian and television star. His highly political material struck a chord with audiences used to a diet of comment delivered by someone dressed in a rubber suit and holding a plunger on television shows where something is only funny if it is delivered with a comedy sound.
In 2005, he started sharing his thoughts on a blog and it is now available in Italian, English and Japanese, and is one of the most widely read sites in the world.
Other names on the top of the list are 'Perez Hilton, Michael Arrington and Kevin Rose, founder of digg.com. Yeah we dunno who they are either. µ
Apparently Nick Farrell isn't on the list, so people who made it don't know much about the Internet tubes
I engaged in behaviour which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgement... again.... (cough)(cough) Last one in is a rotten regimental commando!
