Teachers can't cope with cyber bullying

Nibble Not up to speed with technology

TEACHERS DOWN UNDER are unable to cope with cyber bullying because they have not got a clue about this new fangled world wide web thing, according to a new report.

A report published by the federally funded Australian Clearinghouse for Youth Studies said that while the world wide wibble was crucial for kids, teachers had not got a clue about how it worked.

Most of them didnt know what Facebook or Myspace was, and a few of them considered the electric telegraph a type of technology which was good, but probably would not catch on. µ

Come-on is this study for real? Technology and the internet has nothing to do with whether teachers are up to speed when it comes to bullying.

They were never up to speed with regular bullying so why should they be involved in cyber bullying?

And thats the point they pay lip service to stopping bullying in real life.

Then again the whole lesson with bullies is learning to fend them off, hiding under someone's skirt just creates a mamas boy.

Guess this study was made and funded by mama's boys that never learnt that lesson....
